Verónica López
With a career as a Public Accountant, she embarks on her path to Responsible Fashion in 2016, realizing the lack of information on the subject within Mexico, motivates her to make a change in her career and seek solutions in Mexico about Responsible Fashion. She made participations in Study Hall (‘18), course in POLIMODA (‘19) as well as becoming leader of The Climate Reality Project.
Founding Materia Consumo Sostenible 2020, a platform that promotes the incorporation of best practices in responsible processes in fashion in Mexico.
Creating “La Materia” the first annual conference in Mexico where national and international industry experts discuss problems and solutions on the socio-environmental and economic impacts of Fashion.
She has given conferences and talks such as “Circular Economy and Sustainable Consumption” at My World Mexico, “How to be a conscious consumer?” in Change For Fashion, “Greenwashing in fashion” in Casa Kumbhaka and taught courses such as “Fundamentals of Responsible Fashion”.
